Save the Date: Lobby Day in Sacramento on March 6, 2024

It’s time to save the date for the next Lobby Day in Sacramento.  The date is Wednesday, March 6, starting at 9 a.m.  Lobby Day training will be held at the Hyatt Regency Hotel, 1209 L Street, and after training, lobbying will take place in the legislative offices nearby.

The primary focus for Lobby Day 2024 will be improvements to the Tiered Registry Law.

“ACSOL lobbied for about seven years for a Tiered Registry Law, however, the final law reflects political compromises that harm registrants and are not supported by government and academic data,” stated Executive Director Janice Bellucci.

Lunch will be provided to all Lobby Day participants and there will be a reception following lobbying efforts.  Sign ups for Lobby Day will begin in mid-January 2024.

Already making my travel plans! I will be there.

It reflects the will of a corrupt politician, that Gonzales Fletcher. But you know compared to DeSantis everybody in California’s a freaking saint. Thank goodness we’re over here.

WE need to go (Attend Training) & Make A Difference…for all, even adult family members who support should conder partaking and help your loved one and your family have a better life! A Must

We attended for the first time last year, it was very moving to hear individual stories being told. What’s the website we used to look up the representatives based on our home address? I’d like to use it early next year and start reaching out ahead of the lobby day, in the hopes that we get to meet our own rep.
